Terms of service
These terms cover the use of this website and the basis on which iCommerceteam provides services. Individual engagements are governed by a signed agreement, which takes precedence over this page wherever the two differ.
Using this website
- The information here describes our services in good faith. It is not an offer capable of acceptance, and it does not form a contract.
- Content on this site belongs to iCommerceteam unless stated otherwise. You may read and share it, but not republish it as your own.
- We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Engagements
- Work begins once a written scope and quote are agreed. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
- Retainers run monthly. Either side can end an engagement with 30 days’ written notice.
- Fixed-price project work is delivered against the scope agreed at the outset. Changes to scope are quoted separately before being carried out.
- Invoices are issued monthly in advance for retainers, and on the terms stated in the engagement agreement for project work.
What each side is responsible for
- We are responsible for delivering the scope agreed, exercising reasonable skill and care.
- The client is responsible for granting the access the work requires, for the accuracy of product information they supply, and for decisions reserved to them under the agreed scope.
- The client remains the account holder. We act on their authorisation and within the permissions they grant.
Outcomes
We do not guarantee particular commercial outcomes. Marketplace performance depends on factors outside our control, including pricing, stock availability, competitor activity and changes Amazon makes to its platform and policies. What we commit to is the scope of work, the standard of that work, and the reporting agreed.
Confidentiality
Each side keeps the other’s confidential information confidential, both during an engagement and afterwards. How we handle client data is set out in our privacy policy and data protection page.
Intellectual property
Creative work produced for a client, including content and imagery, transfers to that client on payment. Our own methods, templates and internal tooling remain ours. Source files are handed over at the end of an engagement.
Ending an engagement
On termination we hand over source files, documentation and account access, and remove our own access. Data retention and deletion follow the periods set out in our data protection page.
Relationship with Amazon
iCommerceteam is an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon. Amazon and related marks are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Clients remain bound by their own agreements with Amazon, and nothing we do alters those.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force for an engagement is the one referenced in its signed agreement.
